Operational Hours
Travel can be booked for any time of the day or night / any day of the year (some public holidays are subject to additional charges) Our office is generally closed between 22.00 pm – 07.00 am although an emergency number can be available to customers.
Minimum Fare
Our minimum fare (if applicable) for an executive vehicle for a special event is one hours charge of £35
Vehicles
In circumstances beyond our control, it may be necessary to supply an alternative vehicle to that ordered, though still providing the excellent level of service.
Networking
Prokab does on occasion network with other select companies. These companies should all conform to our high standards and benefit you the customer when it comes to cost efficiency and coverage – should their services be provided.
Invoices & Account Charges
Invoices are generally sent monthly or following completion of a work/contractual period if less than one month. Payment is sought within 21 days after receipt of an invoice.
Booking Cancellation Charges
Generally, cancelled bookings will only be charged if notification is given after the vehicle is dispatched and may not result in the full fare being charged depending on mileage covered. For wedding cancellations – if vehicle preparation has begun (normally up to 24 hours before the booking) the 50% deposit will be retained. All cancellations to be made by phone and backed up with an email please - to avoid unnecessary charges.
Passenger Conduct
Courtesy, professionalism and respect – will be extended to all of our passengers. It is expected in return all passengers will conduct themselves in a non disruptive and safe manner for transportation. Any passenger considered to compromise safety may not be permitted to travel.
Delays
Although we pride ourselves on Service & Punctuality, We do not accept liability for unavoidable circumstances such as traffic delays, accidents, vehicle breakdown, bad weather conditions, or delays caused by third parties such as ferry companies, hotels or any other third party contracted on your behalf. In the case of vehicle breakdown, a replacement vehicle will be sent as soon as possible to continue your journey at no additional charge by Prokab.
Meet and Greet
It is standard practice for us to monitor flight arrival times. Your vehicle will be dispatched subject to information received from the relevant airport. A forty five minute period from flight eta is given free of charge (Bristol Airport fifteen minutes) for clearance of customs. After clearance time, a charge of 30 pence per minute is charged as standard, until all passengers are met and ready for travel.
Responsibilities
All of our drivers are owner drivers, and are responsible for their own vehicle upkeep / insurance etc although Prokab monitor this closely.
Responsibility for loss or damage to goods, except where such loss or damage is due to direct action by the driver, is not accepted.
Responsibility for injury, sickness or death to any person, except where such injury, sickness or death is caused by their direct negligence is not accepted.
